FinnMedi Oy was established in 1995 and it is owned by the Hospital District of Pirkanmaa, City of Tampere, Tampere University of Technology Foundation, Tampere University Foundation and Finnish Red Cross. The company has 16 permanent employees and its projects involve more than 100 people annually. Finn-Medi Research implements some 100 projects per year. Our Turnover in 2009 was 4,1 M€.
With its skilled staff and through its wide national and international connections to research institutions, financiers, corporations and other development companies, FinnMedi can offer a covering network and appropriate expertise to its customers' service.
FinnMedi Oy premises are situated in the Finn-Medi Campus area in Kauppi, Tampere, which is a local hub of biotechnology, healthcare technology and medical expertise. We work in close co-operation with research and healthcare organisations in the campus area, companies operating in the same field, industries in the Tampere region, as well as development companies and technology centres.
