The mission of FinnMedi Oy is to deploy innovation in the development of the Finnish healthcare technology and biotechnology industry on a local, national, and international level.

FinnMedi produces expert services for the development of the health technology and biotechnology sectors. We are focused on the following spearhead areas: medicines and vaccines, biomaterials and tissue engineering, implants, medical devices and systems and also health and well-being services.

FinnMedi produces expert services for the Life Sciences -sector in the following roles:

new business model developer and innovation commersialisation agent nationally and internationally
development partner for the sector's national and international companies

Important tools for regional development work are development projects and centre of expertise -programmes. Our development programmes rely on close co-operation with industries and organisations in education, research and development.

The aim of the programmes is to strengthen internationally competitive top expertise, create new jobs and generate sales. FinnMedi Oy is in charge of making project preparations, co-ordinating and establishing co-operation relations with domestic and international companies and organisations.
